Welcome to Village Pets We are a locally owned Pet Store specializing in finding you the best products for your furry friends.

We are looking for an individual that:

- Has knowledge of the pet industry, including pet food, pet supplies and the pet themselves
- Has retail Experience; how to recommend the best products for each need
- Is computer savvy to track inventory coming in and out of the store
- Has exceptional Customer Service; creating a community with our clients and their furry friends.
- Knows how to use social media and other marketing strategies.
- is self-motivated and can complete daily tasks.
- and LOVES all things pets

The job tasks include:

- Greeting and welcoming customers and using the POS system to ring through purchases
- Recommending specific diets and accessories for each individual pet and their needs
- Receiving stock orders and stocking merchandising shelves to bring ease to the shopping experience
- Day to day cleaning of store to bring a warm and welcoming experience
- Helping create the best shopping experience for our customers with bringing uniqueness to the job
- Has the ability to work on their own

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Saanich, BC V8M 2B3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
