**Speech-Language Pathologist - Deca Health and Wellness (Oshawa, ON)**

**Location**: 2600 Simcoe St N Unit 2, Oshawa, ON L1H 7K4

**Job Type**: Full-time / Part-time
**Work Schedule**: Flexible hours (Monday to Friday, weekends as needed)
**Work Location**: In-person

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing function.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology and participate in continuing education opportunities.

**Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Experience in a hospital, acute care, rehabilitation, or private practice setting is an asset.
- Previous experience with pediatric populations is beneficial but not required.
- Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and case management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to support patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
