**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the Supervisor in managing classroom activities and ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment for all children.
- Educate and support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, fostering their development through tailored activities.
- Collaborate with caregivers and parents to communicate children's progress and address any concerns effectively.
- Help train and mentor new staff members in caregiving techniques and classroom management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents that occur during program hours.
- Participate in planning educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and organizational policies within the classroom setting.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in early childhood education or a related field is mandatory
- Familiarity with working with children who have disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong caregiving skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and effective communication with both children and adults.
- Experience in classroom management techniques to create an organized and productive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
