**The Position**:

**Focus on Rebuilding and Strengthening Relationships in Canada**
- **Reigniting Past Relationships**: Reconnect with previous contacts and businesses to rebuild relationships and open the door for new opportunities.
- **Strategic Outreach**: Identify and connect with key decision-makers in target companies to introduce our services, ensuring we are positioned ahead of the competition when RFQs (Request for Quotations) are issued.
- **Proactive Opportunity Management**: Stay ahead of current and future opportunities by engaging early in the project lifecycle, providing strategic advice, and positioning our company as the preferred partner.
- **Sales Performance Overview**: Monitor and follow up on projects to ensure we are aligned with client expectations, making sure that nothing falls through the cracks and that the team delivers on time and to specification.
- **After-Sales Support**: Conduct post-sale follow-ups to confirm successful project completion, identify areas for improvement, and ensure ongoing satisfaction with our products and services. Continuously work to enhance customer relationships and help drive continuous improvement.
**What You Will Do**:
- **Sales & Business Development**: Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- **Sales Presentations & Negotiations**: Present our products to potential clients, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate pricing and terms to close sales.
- **Account Management**: Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, repeat business, and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- **Market Research**: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies.
- **Sales Reporting**: Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast revenue on a regular basis to senior management.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to ensure that sales strategies align with product development and promotional efforts.
- **Travel**: Regularly travel to meet with clients and prospects across Canada and the US as part of your sales strategy, attending trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
**What You Bring**:
- **Experience**: Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in sales, preferably within the composites, manufacturing, or industrial materials industries.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and persuasive manner.
- **Customer-Centric**: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
- **Sales Skills**: Proficient in sales strategies, lead generation, negotiation, and closing sales. Experience using CRM software is a plus.
- **Self-Motivated**: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets with mínimal supervision.
- **Education**: A bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- **Travel Availability**: Must be available for frequent travel across Canada and the US, including overnight stays.
