**Responsibilities**:

- Continuously monitors and refines models based on market needs and new industry regulations.
- Ensures pipeline integrity threats and consequences are appropriately addressed in risk modeling approaches
- Executes on technical aspects of piping system Integrity Management, Risk Assessment consulting and Risk Model Development projects
- Under direction from Principal Engineers, performs risk analysis on specific pipeline assets
- Reviews and analyzes asset specific information to identify risks, threats, and mitigations
- Stays current with pipeline regulations, industry standards, integrity assessment methods, etc.
- Writes reports and provides quality peer-review and release on reports, as required
- Develops processes required to implement new and updated risk models
- Provides support and training for JANA’s Delivery Team through initial deployments of the model
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Required Skills & Experience
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in a STEM field, preferable in Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics
- Experience with advanced statistical and mathematical techniques, including probabilistic models
- Hands-on and able to code as needed.
- P. Eng designation in progress.
- 2+ years of risk management or reliability engineering experience
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and devise innovative solutions, even when faced with ambiguity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Prior work experience in the oil & gas industry is an asset.
- Experience with Python and SQL is an asset.
