**Job Overview**
This position is part of a 2-3 person IT team supporting IT environments and business operations for the Company’s head office in Aurora as well as business operations throughout Canada, US and France. This role is responsible for the setup, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, servers, network devices, printers, phone system, Office 365, notebooks, cell phones, other digital devices.
This role has a growing focus to support the Company’s ERP system, Microsoft Business Central as well as many commercial EDI customers, partners and interfaces. EDI standards and integration with customers is a growing support area of this role. This role uses an IT ticketing system (Zendesk) to support user and system change requests and ensures systems have maximum up-time availability, security and back up.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Hardware Support
- Install, configure and troubleshoot all IT issues and configure all hardware/software.
- Manage network servers, firewalls (Sophos), and security platforms.
- Configure and manage the backend of most Office 365 platforms.
- Set up accounts (using AD in Hybrid Mode) and workstations.
- Onboarding/Offboarding for employees managing IT-related profiles and security tasks
- Configure and manage Microsoft Teams phone system (Ring Central).
- Ensure security via access controls, back-ups and firewall.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Develop front-end functional expertise to train employees on new technologies.
- Maintain an internal database with technical documents, manuals, and IT specifications for reference.
Applications
- **MS Dynamics Business Central** maintenance, troubleshooting, maintaining master data and pricing and knowledge of AL coding
- **EDI interface support** and troubleshooting (eg. incomplete transactions for invoices, ASNs, POs).
- **WMS (Warehouse Management system/printers)** requires immediate support and maintenance
- **Zendesk ticketing system** is used for workflow and ticket categorization for KPI metrics
- **Old Legacy system** requires support with the external IT provider and day-end activity reporting
- Assist with testing, data administration and data analyst functions.
- Provide back-up coverage for others during absences.
**Qualifications**:
- 5 years in a similar IT support function.
- 3 years VMware (or similar) and 3 years server administration (Linux, Active Directory).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Strong written/verbal communications to help users with business functions, leveraging technology
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude with flexibility for after-hours support.
- Ability to work independently, research, analyze data and issues, and recommend solutions.
- Confident in interacting with all levels (eg. executives to front-line operational roles)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
