**Overview**
**Duties**
- Develop, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for contract preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation in compliance with organizational policies.
- Analyze contract performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Provide guidance on procurement processes and best practices to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and presentations on contract status and performance metrics.
- Manage databases related to contracts and procurement activities.
- Assist in project management tasks related to contract execution and compliance.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and clients through effective customer service.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and SharePoint.
- Strong writing skills for drafting clear and concise contracts and reports.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes in contract discussions.
- Solid analytical skills for evaluating contract terms and performance metrics.
- Administrative experience with a focus on records management and filing systems.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring that all contractual agreements align with organizational goals while fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. The Senior Contract Specialist will contribute significantly to the overall success of the organization through effective contract management.
