Ottawa, Canada Top Hat Home Comfort Services Full time

Top Hat Home Comfort Services, one of Ottawa’s largest home service companies is currently looking for an energetic, customer-focused person for our customer service team.

As a customer service representative for Top Hat’s chimney department you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and growing our existing chimney sweep customer base.
- Schedule service appointments with customers for a wide variety repair and maintenance services.
- Dispatching service calls to technicians.
- Order materials and supplies.
- Receive and process paperwork from technicians.
- Learning about Top Hat’s product and service rates and features and using that knowledge to identify opportunities to deepen the client’s relationship with Top Hat and to positively promote Top Hat’s products and services.
- Taking and directing incoming phone calls for other departments.
- Perform additional duties as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to actively listen, empathize, ask questions and respond in language that clients understand.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess excellent computer skills and an ability to work under pressure at times.
- Must possess excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills: friendly, welcoming and professional at all times.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have an Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including proficiency in Outlook.
- Previous customer service experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.50 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
