We are seeking a Renewable Portfolio Analyst to work in the Energy Resource Planning Department. Under the general direction of
the Greenhouse Gas Expertise Section Head, the Renewable Portfolio Analyst will conduct detailed supply analysis to support the
management of environmental commodities, including renewable energy certificates/credits, non-fossil fuel credits, and greenhouse
gas emission offsets associated with Manitoba Hydro's electricity generation, energy purchases, and sales. The Analyst will also
participate in decision-making for environmental attribute product offerings, considering overall supply, market rules, export
contracts, Manitoba load, and corporate policies. Additionally, the Analyst will utilize, maintain, and improve internal tracking system
software and spreadsheet tools in accordance with Corporate Policy P191 Generation Attribution.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Utilize, maintain, and continuously enhance computer tools used to internally track environmental attributes and energy used

to serve Manitoba load and export sales agreements.
- Responsible for identifying and pursuing opportunities to streamline environmental attribute tracking processes.
- Utilize, maintain, and improve internal tracking system software (e.g., WebTrader and webREC) and spreadsheet tools in
- accordance with Corporate Policy P191 Generation Attribution.
- Administer the Midwest Renewable Energy Tracking System (M-RETS) for creating, transferring, and retiring renewable
- energy certificates; and advocate Manitoba Hydro's interests through the Provincial M-RETS Board representative.
- Prepare a detailed product supply review and analysis related to environmental attributes in support of contract negotiations
- for the export contracts.
- Forecast revenue and expenses related to environmental attributes for Financial Planning.
- Participate in decision-making for environmental attribute product offerings, considering overall supply, market rules, export
- contracts, Manitoba load, and corporate policies.
- Prepare reports to support export sale agreements and unbundled environmental attribute sales.
- Support the development of corporate policies and procedures for environmental attribute products (e.g., greenhouse gas
- emission offsets, renewable natural gas credits).
- Support Greenhouse Gas Expertise deliverables.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- A four-year degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Economics, plus five years of related experience.

OR
- A Professional Designation (CPA, CFA) with four years of related experience.
- Strong ability to maintain productive working relationships and interact effectively at all levels, both inside and outside the
- Corporation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**_ Salary Range_**

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $43.44-$59.95 Hourly,
$83,247.84-$114,870.60 Annually.
