**The Opportunity**
HQ Benefits Solutions Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Junior Policy Analyst** to join our team. This role provides critical administrative and coordination support to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of group life and health benefits. The Junior Policy Analyst plays a key role in processing renewals, marketing proposals, onboarding, and policy amendments while maintaining clear communication with brokers, carriers, and internal teams.
This position is ideal for an organized individual with a good understanding of group benefits and strong Excel skills, who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Job Duties and Tasks _
- Assist with the administration and coordination of group life and health benefit plans.
- Support renewals, marketing, onboarding, and policy amendment processes.
- Track and process renewal and quoting data from multiple carriers; prepare renewal and proposal packages for brokers.
- Coordinate onboarding steps for new sales and transfers, ensuring accurate documentation and communication between brokers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Review and submit policy documents, amendments, and quotes to carriers while maintaining detailed records.
- Update client policies and rates accurately in internal systems (EPIC, trackers, and TPA portals).
- Create and distribute internal rate sheets and ensure benefit summaries are updated.
- Support audits and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Provide general administrative support to the HQ Benefits and insurance team as needed.

- Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative team player who builds effective relationships with internal teams, brokers, and carriers.
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly (e.g., EPIC).
- Your Ideal Qualifications_
- You have post-secondary education in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
- You have 1-2 years of experience in group benefits, insurance operations, or policy administration.
- You have prior exposure to renewals, onboarding, or policy processing.
- ou demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
