**Job Title**: Tower Crane Operator

**Location**: Lower Mainland, BC

**Availability**: Weekdays (With overtime / weekends Availability)

Being a concrete formwork company, we specialize in the construction of high-rise buildings. Our structural formwork division is looking to hire an experienced ‘Tower Crane Operator’ to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the crane to manufacturer standards
- Clean, lubricate and maintain the crane
- Must be able to complete a proper and in-depth inspection of the crane daily and monitor the crane performance on an ongoing basis to prevent malfunctions and damage
- Strictly adhering to safety regulations (swp) and precautions
- Follow and operate under site-safe work procedures for lifting, lowering, or moving equipment
- Vast Knowledge of lifting capacities of the tower crane; ensure no load is lifted where the weight is unknown or overweight
- Communicate with Rigger and Foremen for the daily tasks
- Communicate with the rigger via two-way radio and/or hand signals during lifting and lowering procedures

**Daily Tasks**:

- Lift, move and land loads when the load is ready via rigger communication, through the site for trades.

a) Concrete pour

b) Formwork tables, form columns

c) Rebar cages

d) Trades equipment
- Fill out the Crane log book daily.
- Lock block test beginning of every shift

**Job Skills & Qualifications**
- Tower Crane Level A ticket, OR a journeyman operator license
- Hard worker and able to take directions
- Experience with Formwork equipment
- Peri, Doka, National Forming
- Experience in fast-paced high-rise projects
- Dedication to the project team and time-oriented goals of the project
- Experience Operator for hammerhead tower cranes for large-scale construction sites preferably Leihberr 290hc tower cranes
- Able to work well with others and deal if there is a change of plans on short notice
- Able to Work Monday to Saturday 7 am to 4 pm with overtime

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- fast-paced high-rise projects': 6 years (preferred)
- Formwork equipment
- Peri, Doka, National Forming: 4 years (preferred)
- Formwork Construction: 6 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- BC Driver's License (preferred)
- Tower Crane Class A ticket (preferred)
- Journeyman operator license (preferred)
