**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain the project budget, ensuring it aligns with the financial objectives of Threeosix;
- Regularly track actual project expenditures against the budget and forecast future costs to prevent budget overruns;
- Prepare detailed financial reports, highlighting variances and forecasting future expenditures to inform management decisions;
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements throughout the project lifecycle;
- Work closely with Project Managers and the Leadership Team to ensure budget compliance and financial transparency;
- Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects;
- Contribute to the strategic planning of projects by providing financial insights and cost control strategies;
- Utilize cost management and project scheduling software to accurately report against project budgets.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required;
- Charted Professional Accountant (CPA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Cost Technician (CCT), or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) will be considered assets and preferred;
- Have a proven 5+ year track record of successful cost control in construction or related industries;
- Knowledge of construction or general contracting industry will be considered an asset;
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial team members;
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
