**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness within their assigned locations, within a daycare classroom / school kitchen setting, and for purchasing supplies for the facilities as needed.

**Duties**:

- Clean common areas and other designated areas within their assigned locations
- Sweep, clean floor and clean tools and appliances
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Notify management of any damages or needed repairs
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures
- Keep inventories, purchase and refill supplies for facilities and kitchen from shops and supermarkets as needed
- Driving to and from locations for purchase required
- Communicate with Director and / or Supervisors for all related issues on site
- Other related duties as assigned by Director and Supervisors

**Qualifications**:

- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Possess a reliable vehicle to use at work preferred
- Fuel expenses will be reimbursed, ~$60 / week
- Proven experience in custodial work / cleaning duties preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
