**MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST/OFFICE MANAGER**

Family Practice - London, ON

**Description of Position**:
Established family physician’s office operating within the London Family Health Team, seeking medical receptionist/office manager.
- Manage office reception including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, manage all aspects of billing (OHIP, WSIB, & Third Party), booking referrals and tests, scanning and filing.
- ‪Must be comfortable with team approach working directly with physician, nurse, and allied health professionals, as well having a positive approach to patients and their families.

‪ **Qualifications Required**:

- Must have experience as a medical secretary in a family practice setting.
- ‪Medical Secretary, Medical Office Administrator certificate or equivalent.
- ‪Experience and/or training with electronic medical record (knowledge of Telus Practice Solutions preferred although training available).
- ‪Experience and/or training with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- ‪Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ‪Highly organized and methodical, in order to establish priorities, and able to multi-task effectively.
- ‪Able to problem solve with initiative and work independently.
- ‪Demonstrates professional, positive, service-oriented behaviour.
- ‪Good interpersonal skills, able to work fast and efficiently when required **.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
