Your challenge- Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Logistics / Dispatch Supervisor’s mission is to coordinate all dispatching activities at his or her terminal in accordance with laws, regulations and standards in force, with the aim of guaranteeing an increased service performance. You manage vehicle movements as well as the human and financial resources required for the terminal’s proper operation and ensure that truckers respect the established mileage budget. Finally, you promote a health and safety culture aimed at eliminating all risks of injury, accidents and occupational illnesses and support the operational process improvement initiatives raised by your team in order to ensure a value-added service offered to customers and business partners.- Individual responsibilities**Accountable**
- Ensure customer service that aligns with the standards of Cascades Transport
- Ensure continuous improvement within the unit
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Engage and manage staff
- Efficiently manage operating costs

**Responsible**
- Supervise dispatching activities
- Manage dispatching of shipments and follow up with different internal partners
- Respond to different requests from external clients, plants and truck drivers
- Ensure that pay and invoicing are accurate
- Manage the distribution of mobile devices
- Manage staff members’ vacations
- Provide support to the dispatching team and truck drivers
- Set up and participate in meetings for continuous improvement
- Experiences and strengths- Ability to make decisions and communicate them to the individuals concerned in a timely manner
- Ability to easily build your internal and external networks to achieve organizational goals
- Aptitude to delegate work and ability to hold your team members accountable so that they can reach their full potential
- In-depth knowledge of transport, dispatching and industry laws and regulations
