About the Role

We are a Delivery Service Provider (DSP) looking for a hands-on, reliable, and leadership-driven Supervisor to help manage daily delivery operations. This role supports our delivery drivers, ensures route readiness, and maintains a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day delivery operations for 40+ drivers per shift
  • Conduct morning dispatch: route assignment, van inspections, uniform checks
  • Support drivers during the day with route issues, escalations, break coverage
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and DSP operating procedures
  • Monitor performance metrics (on-time delivery, rescue needs, return-to-station)
  • Coach and develop drivers to meet delivery quality and safety targets
  • Lead post-shift debrief: package counts, van return checks, incident reporting
  • Coordinate with station management on operational updates
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing driver training
  • Maintain a clean, organized yard and workspace

Requirements

  • Supervisory or team-lead experience (logistics preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive during time-sensitive issues
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with rescues when needed
  • Tech-savvy with ability to use apps, dashboards, and handheld devices
  • Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous DSP experience (Driver, Dispatcher, or Lead)
  • Familiarity with routing tools: handheld devices, safety apps, and dispatch dashboards
  • Experience coaching teams or handling performance management

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
