**Metro Liquor is hiring at our Brentwood Bay Store for a Wine Specialist** We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, amazing product depth, our store facilities, and having great relationships at work Each of our store locations have long standing team members to make you feel right at home from your first day with us. We are looking for a charismatic individual who can bring their wine expertise to our store to help sell some wonderful and unique wines to our customers - WSET 3 preferred (or equivalent certification) - You like to have fun at work - You work well in a team - You have a passion for the industry - You have great product knowledge and relationship skills - You have your "Serving It Right Certificate" **Job Duties & Requirements**: - Work prime time shifts (2pm-8pm Thurs - Fri) to aid our customers with their wine purchases - Recommendations on product portfolio, in conjunction with the store manager and Metro Liquor Portfolio Manager - Cashier duties - Receiving, loading and unloading - Merchandising and store aesthetics and displays - Coordinate and deliver in-store tasting and events - Assist customers with store products - Support staff training events and all Metro Liquor policies - Comply with BCLCRB and government regulations & policies Work remotely - No **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time **Salary**: From $18.00 per hour (Negotiable based on qualifications / experience) **Benefits**: - On-site parking - Store discount Schedule: - 6 hour shift - Thursday - Saturday - Holidays - Day/Evening prime time shifts 2pm-8pm - Hours are negotiable COVID-19 considerations: Standard procedures enforced by B.C laws. **Experience**: - WSET 3 preferred (or equivalent certification) **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 15-20 per week **Salary**: From $18.00 per hour **Benefits**: - On-site parking - Store discount Day range: - Holidays - Weekend availability Shift: - Day shift - Evenings Work setting: - Specialty store Ability to commute/relocate: - Brentwood Bay, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: One location
