**Job Description**:
Reporting to the marketing manager, the digital content specialist will develop social media content, digital campaigns, website content, and optimize targeted audience advertising and engagement.
- Manage and track the content plan for social media platforms both organic and paid with a focus on audience growth and engagement.
- Analyze and create monthly reports that help inform digital content strategies and provide insight into brand awareness and reach.
- Inventory existing content, identify gaps, and assess creative content requirements needed to ensure an inspiring online experience.
- Creatively look for opportunities to improve content and user experience through data-driven assessment of current digital communications and by testing new ideas.
- Support the digital content needs of business units and operational partners as needed.
- Provide ad-hoc support for the execution of other marketing and communications tactics as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- A post-secondary degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related area; combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Minimum of three years’ experience writing, editing, copywriting for digital channels including social media.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in digital campaign planning and execution.
- Experience with digital platforms such as Process Wire, Hootsuite, Google Analytics.
- Deep understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube and other social media are required
- Proven experience in implementing engaging online solutions for large audiences across the value chain.
- Strong writing skills are essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to secure the cooperation and respect of business partners and the project team members. These skills must include strong oral and written communication skills, as well as a high degree of tact, diplomacy, and persuasiveness
- High level of attention to detail
