**IT Systems Administrator**: PBNJ Consulting Inc. is a Managed IT Service Provider, founded in 2001. We currently support IT systems of various organizations in the GTA and across Canada. PBNJ offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and encourages a fun and open atmosphere, suited for driven and self-motivated individuals. We are currently in need of a System Administrator that would lead a small team and report to our head office. It is a hybrid position, so the tech must be available to work from home and visit client's sites. Much of the work will be on the back-end infrastructure, but the position requires interacting with users - this is not a "server room only" position. **Responsibilities and skills**: **System Admin**: - Windows/VMWare Server - Monitoring/Maintenance/Updates - AntiVirus and Security Systems Management and Response - Backups and Restores (on-prem and SaaS) - Software Licensing Management **Microsoft/Office 365 Admin**: - SharePoint Admin - Exchange Admin - Teams/Phone Admin - 365 Security and Compliance, and others **Networking**: - Routers, firewalls (Meraki, SonicWALL) - Switches, VLANs, WiFi, VPNs **End-user support**: - Troubleshoot and resolve escalated user technical issues (remote and onsite) - General end-user support, from time to time - Rollouts and deployments hardware and software - Work with 3rd party vendors - quotes, procurement **Scripting/Automation**: - Powershell **Other bonus skills**: **Web**: - Web DNS Related - SSL Certificate CSRs and Installs (most, not all) - Cpanel/Plesk - Troubleshooting hosting php/mysql **Qualifications**: - College/CEGEP/Vocational or Technical training - Minimum 7+ years of experience in a related field - Microsoft certification is a plus **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Life insurance - Paid time off - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed **Experience**: - system administration: 7 years (required) - Microsoft 365: 5 years (required) - Microsoft Windows Server: 7 years (required) Work Location: In person
