Join to apply for the IT System Administrator role at Taalas Join our team as we seek a dynamic IT System Administrator to spearhead IT operations at Taalas. We are looking for a candidate with a strong cultural alignment to our company who is eager to embark on a journey of learning and growth with us. Job Responsibilities Establish and manage complete network infrastructure, including firewall configuration, ISP, LAN setup, and WiFi administration Configure, procure and setup of laptops, servers, and network inventory Maintenance and administration of Google Workspace, Office365, Azure, Development cloud, etc Server farm/Data center setup and maintenance, including rack and stack, automated OS deployment and remote management Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures, including access control, endpoint security, and vulnerability management, to protect against security threats and breaches Participate in IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT system administration For individuals with the potential and passion, there are exciting opportunities for future growth into team management, devops, SRE, and more Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Proficiency in MacOS and Linux operating systems Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols Experience with IT security principles and practicesExcellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently Strong communication and collaboration skills Interested in joining our team?
