We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our Technology & Transformation Team and support corporate end users while maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone eager to engage with various aspects of infrastructure and operations, contributing to a broad range of technical platforms. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Support & Maintenance: Manage and support infrastructure platforms, including Microsoft 365 (O365, Teams, SharePoint), cloud services, networking, IT security, and A/V systems. System Administration: Oversee system administration across all technology platforms, ensuring stability and security. Cloud & On-Premise Support: Maintain and troubleshoot Azure cloud environments (e.g., Entra ID, virtual machines, load balancers, app services, SQL instances) and on-premise systems (e.g., Active Directory, file servers, firewalls, VPN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, printers). Device & Endpoint Management: Deploy, administer, and support corporate servers, laptops, and virtual machines, leveraging tools like ManageEngine Endpoint Central for patch management and software deployment. Cybersecurity & Compliance: Investigate and address cybersecurity alerts (e.g., risky sign-ins, conditional access violations) while ensuring compliance with IT policies, standards, and procedures. Technical Support: Field incoming IT requests via email and the IT service management system, providing remote and on-site support while escalating issues as needed. System Health & Optimization: Proactively monitor system performance and ensure high data quality across platforms. Application & Process Support: Assist in configuring system enhancements and understanding business processes to support application platforms effectively. Backup & Disaster Recovery: Support backup and disaster recovery initiatives to ensure business continuity. Research & Procurement: Research IT solutions and gather cost estimates for tools and services. On-Call Support: Participate in after-hours support rotation as needed. Qualifications & Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role. 2-4 years of experience administering a Microsoft Active Directory Domain and managing Group Policy. 2-4 years of experience with networking and Microsoft Hyper-V. 1+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 administration (e.g., user creation, license allocation, password resets). Strong knowledge of technology ecosystems, including front-end applications, back-office systems, integrations, data platforms, networking, security, and cloud hosting. Experience with Microsoft Azure & Office 365 is an asset.
