Volanté is an industry leading Enterprise Point-of-Sale (POS) company that sells its leading-edge hospitality solutions to blue-chip customers all across North America. With a team of over 100 employees in its Toronto, Ontario and Charlotte, North Carolina offices, Volanté's POS software has continuously demonstrated its ability to be flexible, scalable, and reliable in diverse environments.

The Implementation Specialist is a hybrid role, where you'll be supporting our configurations projects as well as deployment of Volante's systems for new clients. On the Configurations side of things, you'll be working on our in-house projects and build out tailored POS solutions for Volanté clients. On the other hand, Deployment means you'll be on the go and traveling to our new client sites across the Canada/U.S to install our POS/hardware, while providing technical support and training to clients during the install. **What You'll Be Doing**:

- Hardware/software installation of our Point-of-Sale (POS) software for new clients of Volante
- Provide clients with technical support on site
- Complete all necessary project documentation accurately
- Conduct client-training on site as needed
- Perform software and hardware troubleshooting as needed
- Collaborate with our Projects team to build a customized POS solution to meet our clients' business needs and goals
- Assist our Install team remotely with operational issues and change requests

**What We're Looking For**:

- Completed post-secondary education or higher, preferably in IT or a related field
- Bilingual in English and French is required
- Must be eligible to travel within the US and to Canada
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with mínimal supervision
- Excellent customer service orientation - always put the client first
- Excellent communication skills - both in verbal and written correspondence
- Ability to work flexible/changing hours
- _A valid Driver's License (G2/G or an equivalent Driver's License from another province in Canada)_
- Some networking experience would be an asset
- Experience with point of Sale (POS) is a definite asset
- 1+ years experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems
- 1+ years experience working with SQL and relational databases
- An aptitude for data analysis and interpretation
- Hardware troubleshooting experience is preferred
- Bash/Powershell experience is an asset
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
