**Sourcing Manager**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish and cultivate long-term strategic partnerships with suppliers.
- Source new components, services, and vendors.
- Initiate and manage the RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal/Quote) processes.
- Lead pricing, terms, lead-time, and contract negotiations.
- Stay informed about industry and market trends, incorporating best practices into sourcing strategies.
- Plan and manage the company's overall sourcing strategy.
- Consolidate, analyze, and optimize the costed Bill of Materials (BOM) for new products.
- Conduct outsourcing/make or buy analysis and contribute to decision-making.
- Develop relationships with outsourcing suppliers and explore innovative solutions.
- Evaluate the true cost of ownership for sourced components.
- Negotiate contracts to reduce costs effectively.
- Manage risk and compliance in sourcing activities.
- Oversee sourcing of manufacturing and engineering equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous work experience as a Sourcing Manager, with a focus on electronic components.
- Strong skills in sourcing, negotiation, and contracting.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent 4-year post-secondary education.
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is an asset.
- Previous experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong computer competency with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
