**About Beem Credit Union** **What this role is all about**: This is the position where most banking professionals start their career. This front-line service and sales role will build the foundation for a long career in banking. Traditionally called a "teller", this role has evolved to include an elevated level of knowledge than previously required. Times have changed and so has the role. Employee Type: Part Time (4 Days Per Week) Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday **What you’ll do**: - Process transactional needs of clients including cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, loan/bill payments, cheque cashing/ordering, foreign currency, fund transfers, drafts, official cheques, and personal information updates on accounts. - Initiate conversations with clients to proactively identify their financial needs. - Enthusiastically sell BlueShore Financial products and services or refer clients with more complex requirements to specialized branch staff. **What you’ll bring**: - 1-2 years of customer service and cash experience (sales experience preferred). - Some post-secondary education preferred. **What you’ll gain**: - Competitive base salary; reviewed annually.
