**The Opportunity**:
JJM Construction is looking for a contract (6-month) **Project Administrator** to join the team on various projects in the lower mainland, BC.
**Responsibilities**:
The primary goal of this position is to achieve excellence in all facets of the essential functions, while providing the highest quality construction services and products safely, effectively and efficiently to ensure JJM Construction’s principle of “Building to Last” endures for future generations.
- Support the Project Manager to effectively execute construction projects, with the primary responsibility of managing and maintaining the flow of files and documents, as well as supporting the general administrative duties on site.
- Interact with people in a fast‐paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive and efficient, with a high level of organization is key to success in this role.
- Perform other site duties or functions, consistent with status or vocational ability as may be required from time to time.
- Ensure a safe work environment for our people, clients, subcontractors, and the public.
- Represent JJM to the public in a manner that is consistent with corporate values and goals.
**Operational Performance and Best Practices**:
- Administrative and safety support for the Project Manager and Supervisor on site.
- Document control functions in support of Project Manager/Supervisor:
- Complete daily and weekly reports to monitor time, equipment hours, safety and production; and
- Collect safety paperwork and documentation for upload into SiteDocs.
- Maintain project files and organize as per JJM procedures.
- Maintain project submissions, change order and RFI logs.
- Respond to customer calls in a professional and efficient manner
- Support in the submission of administrative documentation to the client as directed.
- Interface and communicate (written and verbally) with all levels of management, clients, contractors and visitors.
- Review all safe work practices and procedures associated with the job prior to ask execution.
- Lead by example.
- Wear, and participate in the ongoing training of, the required PPE for the position/task at hand.
**Qualifications**:

- Previous office/site/field administration experience.
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat skills.
- Strong/accurate keyboarding skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract (per company insurance requirements).
- Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-2020 Fundamentals) or (CSTS-09) or equivalent.
- WHIMIS-2015 certificate (valid within 3-years).
**Health and Safety**:
- Strictly adhere to the JJM Construction OHS Manual.
- Follow JJM Construction safe work practices and safe job procedures.
- Follow the BC Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
