**Your Mission**
As Business Development Manager at Viala Technologies, your mission is to identify and develop new opportunities to manufacture custom products and equipment for innovative clients. You will conduct market research, build relationships with potential partners, and help guide new projects from idea to execution.
**What You Bring**
You are curious, creative, and resourceful - a natural connector with a strong sense of value and business intuition. You communicate clearly, enjoy solving problems, and thrive in a small team where your ideas and actions have a direct impact.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Research industries, products, and market segments to identify new business opportunities
- Create promotional materials and content to showcase our capabilities (website, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Qualify leads and act as a liaison between customers and the production team
- Maintain accurate CRM/sales tracking to support strategic decisions
- Provide input on pricing strategy and quoting based on value and effort
- Collaborate with the technical team to scope and frame solutions for client needs
Other related duties as required in a growing company
**What You'll Need**
- Experience in business development, technical sales, or customer success (B2B preferred)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfort with sales platforms, CRM tools, and general digital literacy
- Ability to understand technical products and manufacturing processes (you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be able to learn quickly and ask good questions)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients
**Preferred but Not Required**
- Experience in manufacturing, automation, industrial design, or contract production
- Familiarity with design-for-manufacturing (DFM) or product development workflows
- Experience creating content for web or LinkedIn to generate leads
