**Reports to**:District Sales Manager
**Job Scope and Accountabilities**:
The Store Manager is accountable for the ownership and management of store sales results. This includes achieving daily, weekly and year to date sales budgets and exceeding key performance indicators. You will recruit “Retail’s Best” for your store, develop, train and coach a high performance selling team. You will ensure that your store team delivers exceptional customer service to each and every customer. Your store will be maintained as per visual standards and the customer will see a neat, clean and well presented store.
**Results Driven**
- Meet or exceeds both personal and store sales budgets, daily, weekly and year to date.
- Achieves key personal and store performance indicators at or above company standard.
- Ensures the store team is fully trained in customer service tools such as product information, selling skills and loss prevention techniques.
- Maintains all aspects of expense control to maximize profit opportunity including wage cost.
- Delivers and supports all Company objectives, policies and initiatives.
**Customer Focus**
- Demonstrates and coaches to ensure all Associates follow all Fundamental Selling Skills and the outfit selling strategy.
- Develops superior high performance teams that provide exceptional customer service in the store.
- Champions the brand through all aspects of customer service.
- Builds future business through the promotion of our Campaign Goals.
- Seeks to address customers’ needs and concerns while considering the customer perspective.
**Communication**
- Expresses oneself clearly and confidently with store team, customers and Home Office.
- Engages in discussions and expresses opinions with a clear point of view towards win-win outcomes.
- Provides the District Sales Manager with ongoing feedback and with solutions to potential problems.
- Demonstrates open, respectful and courteous communication.
- Utilizes excellent communication with the ability to conduct store meetings and training sessions.
**Team Leadership**:
- Leads Sales Associates to achieve sales budgets through positive motivation.
- Effectively coaches and provides honest and straightforward feedback to all Associates on personal productivity measures.
- Manages performance appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Recognizes desired behaviours and deals effectively with poor performance situations partnering with the District Sales Manager.
- Manages a safe and secure operation of your store, by enforcing rules and regulations to protect people and our Company assets.
- Supports corporate philosophies and company values.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**Visual Merchandising/Display**:
- Plans and implements visual directions and layouts.
- Ensures that store is neat, clean and well presented.
- Maintains visual presentation standards as per visual manual.
- Provides feedback to the effectiveness of current visual to the District Sales Manager.
