Automotive Service Advisor

**JAbout the Role**:
We’re looking for a **hands-on, organized, and resourceful Service Advisor** to join our dealership team. This role is ideal for someone who can take full ownership of customer complaints and service requests, create and manage work orders, coordinate with internal and external mechanics, and ensure parts are sourced at the most competitive rates.
**Core Responsibilities: Customer & Complaint Management**
- Receive and respond to customer complaints related to vehicle issues (post-delivery or in stock)
- Create service tickets with clear details of the concern and promised resolutions
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process with regular updates
- Ensure service-related complaints are resolved efficiently and professionally
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction after repairs
**Work Order & Service Coordination**
- Generate clear, detailed work orders for technicians and service partners
- Assign jobs to internal staff or outsource to qualified service shops
- Track progress of each service job and ensure on-time completion
- Maintain organized digital records of all work orders, notes, and invoices
**Parts Management & Cost Control**
- Research and source replacement parts, tires, and accessories at the lowest possible cost without compromising quality
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple parts suppliers and vendors
- Ensure parts are ordered promptly and received in time for scheduled work
- Track inventory usage and returns to minimize waste and control costs
**Team Communication & Workflow Oversight**
- Coordinate between mechanics, detailers, tire/wheel staff, and delivery teams
- Maintain a real-time service schedule board to monitor active tickets
- Ensure all vehicles undergoing service are tagged and documented
- Report unresolved issues or repeat problems to management
**Required Qualifications**:
- 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor or Service Coordinator
- Strong understanding of automotive repair workflows and terminology
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational and multitasking ability
- Proficient with service management systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple jobs simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and ability to move vehicles when needed
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
