**Position: Business Systems Analyst (BSA)**

Location: Hybrid role (2 days on
- site weekly), Toronto, Ontario,
Work Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Weekly Schedule: Monday to Friday
Employment Type: Full - Time, Contractual
Requirements: Must be a resident of Toronto, Canada, and hold a valid work permit.

**Desirable Skills**
- Strong in delivering API specification and Data Mapping documentation.
- Understanding of lending/financing/mortgage domain and related business processes is a big asset.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA, and project managers to ensure alignment on business needs and technical solutions.
- Create and maintain user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes as needed.
- Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for system enhancements and new projects.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by defining test cases, assisting in test execution, and validating outcomes against requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Work with data teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and proper integration across systems.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to identify opportunities for improvement or automation.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in BSA role with technical background.
- Strong experience with **API development lifecycle**, including **RESTful APIs** and API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Proficient in **data mapping**, system integration, and SQL/data querying.
- Deep understanding of **lending/financing/mortgage** business processes.
- Hands-on experience working in **Agile** and **Scrum** environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex problems.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
