**Position Overview**

The Business Data Analyst is responsible for implementing an array of analytics projects and providing detailed and valuable insights in support of TCR’s strategic projects. The Business Data Analyst will research and identify key business trends, make sense of data, and communicate the information to support TCR’s key decision makers. The Business Data Analyst will also research and implement emerging technologies in improving processes and leveraging various tools in growing market share of various portfolios. The Business Data Analyst will be required to collaborate with various dynamic teams and work on across-department projects. The Business Data Analyst reports to the Analytics Manager.

**Responsibilities**

**Portfolio Management**
- Responsible for growing market share in select portfolios through campaign design and proposing initiatives based on data insights
- Conduct analysis and present insights to business leaders in monthly meetings
- Provide consultation to key clients on strategies and business trends

**Project Management**
- Relay business requirements for corporate projects to various departments and assess outcome of projects
- Research and lead implementation of new techniques and emerging technologies

**Reporting & Internal Data Requests**
- Design and build new datasets and monitoring suites, leveraging business intelligence tools
- Meet Analytics team SLAs by responding to internal data requests
- Maintain company reports, ensuring accuracy
- Assist the finance team with remittance and invoicing

**Requirements**:

- Holds an undergraduate degree, HBA preferred
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis or a similar role
- Fluency in data management, data analysis and manipulation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Proficiency in R or Python considered an asset
- Working knowledge of statistics and data management/analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated self-starter, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision
- Results-focused, able to deliver high quality work in a timely manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
