We are a Financial Technology Company changing the way Canadians buy and finance used vehicles. Through our direct-to-consumer portal, DriveAxis.ca, customers can choose their next used vehicle, arrange financing and get the car delivered to their home. Through its indirect loan origination channels, Axis continues to provide alternative used vehicle financing options to roughly 30% of Canadian that have credit scores in the non-prime range. All Axis auto loans report to Equifax, resulting in over 70% of customers seeing a significant improvement of their credit scores. We have served over 80000 customers and together we are a family of over 140 employees.
**Summary**:
The Receptionist will be required to perform an array of administrative tasks for the company. This includes coordinating and communicating with different departments. Must be able to multi-task and be able to handle a busy environment. Must have strong organizational skills and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites including Excel, Outlook and Word.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide telephone directory assistance and take phone messages
- Greet customers that come to the office and refer them to the right personnel
- Receive incoming calls and redirect them to the appropriate staff
- Perform a wide variety of clerical and administrative tasks in order to maintain different types of documents in the reception area
- Provide general information to customers and vendors
- Help ensure the parking policy is being followed
- Provide administrative support to all departmental members
- Perform basic bookkeeping functions
- Review and prepare all documents, and other correspondence materials for the Admin Department
- Coordinate departmental office activities
- Review, evaluate and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with report and presentation preparation
- Maintain and monitor office supply inventory levels and place orders as required
- Prepare travel arrangements with a keen attention to detail, where necessary
- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years of administrative and/or receptionist experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and Outlook required
- Strong Administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
- Good time management and prioritizing skills
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
- Effective written and communication skills
