Fleet Maintenance Manager

This position will make decisions regarding troubleshooting problems, safety procedures, and any spend including repairs and maintenance associated with the fleet. There will be direct supervision of the current Maintenance Coordinator, Iron Manager, and Fleet Analysts. **Responsibilities**: - Ensure that Trican's core value, "Safe equipment and operations" is the priority in all activities. - Ensure all equipment and vehicles are maintained to Trican’s mechanical and appearance standards. - Ensure all necessary unit information and documentation is maintained according to Company and National Safety Code requirements. - Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety Code, ESG, all client policies and regulations. - Oversee the use and spend with third-party maintenance and parts suppliers. - Ensure the appropriate personnel, training, equipment, technical expertise, safeguards, and inventories are in place to operate in a safe and efficient manner with support from local Base Managers. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, as well as forecasting future expenditures. - Anticipate potential setbacks with personnel, equipment, job, and industry matters while supplying proactive solutions. - Stay current with emerging trends regarding industry equipment. - Proactively encourage suggestions and feedback from employees on new perspectives to improve working conditions, employee safety, procedures, and operational practices. - Oversee the manufacturing of new or the rebuilding of old equipment. - Advise senior management on a regular basis on department updates and what could impact the Operations world. Also provide high level equipment summaries for all service lines regularly. - Oversee International shipments and cross border requirements. - Travel to Trican and Third-Party offices and shops regularly.
