**Responsibilities**

**Planning & Coordination**

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans on weekly, monthly, and seasonal schedules.
  • Strategically assign tasks, oversee progress, and ensure on-time project completion.
  • Collaborate with departments such as structures, avionics, stores, paint shop, planning and more.
  • Research and procure necessary components, tools, or assets.

**Operational Management**

  • Regularly monitor project status and provide updates to the Chief Engineer.
  • Ensure accurate daily labor entry into WinAir.
  • Prioritize hands-on supervision over administrative duties, while leading by example in the field.
  • Ensure continuous productivity and address any attendance or discipline issues.

**Compliance & Safety**

  • Stay updated on Transport Canada guidelines and ensure crew adherence.
  • Enforce the consistent use of proper PPE and verify appropriate equipment training.
  • Promptly report hazards, incidents, or accidents via the company reporting system.

**Performance & Development**

  • Set, monitor, and achieve performance goals and deadlines in line with the company's vision.
  • Encourage innovative thinking and champion solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain professional acumen by participating in relevant workshops and training.

**Employee Relations**

  • Act as a first point of contact for floor-level conflicts, resolving them efficiently and involving HR as necessary.
  • Communicate staffing concerns promptly to the Chief Engineer and HR.

**Policy Implementation**

  • Stay updated on new procedures or policies from management and ensure their successful roll-out.
  • Promote and enforce systems, policies, and procedures with a constructive mindset.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies and legal mandates.

**Qualifications**

  • Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a valid AME license.
  • Possess 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Miscellaneous: Carry out other related duties as assigned.
