We are currently seeking a highly-skilled **Technical Writer **to help take our client-focused services to new heights. In this position, you will create easy-to-understand user content and product documentation to increase product clarity, performance, and usability As a member of our Partner Success team, the Technical Writer will work closely with our Development, Product, and Sales teams structure and design technical documentation for varying audiences, and lead the direction for how documentation should be distributed and via which mediums.
Responsibilities.
- Work closely with internal teams to determine the needs of end-users for technical documentation
- Architect and own the method of technical documentation distribution & medium
- Create strong content that fulfills company standards and audience goals
- Create material to support the sales cycle, focusing on onboarding, conversation, and churn prevention phases.
- Work closely with the sales, success, and support teams to support the entire customer journey.
- Work with both technical & non-technical staff to make products easier to use and thus need fewer instructions
- Pro-actively organize and write supporting documents for product
- Produce media content that increases users’ understanding
- Actively gather usability feedback from customers
- Revise documents as new issues arise and as product & process develops
- Actively engage in product support, with key responsibilities for identifying writing solutions & knowledge capture for either external education and/or internal training
Qualifications.
- Strong leadership, autonomy, and proactivity skills.
- Good comprehension of DevOps and Software Development Life Cycle.
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication ability (you need to be fluent and highly proficient in English).
- Experience with working with development & technical teams
- Experience with producing training material for sales teams preferred
- 4+ years experience in technical writing of software documentation
- Are creative, collaborative, optimistic, communicative, intellectually curious and clever.
- Pay incredible attention to detail, OCD preferred.
- Experience with leading documentation and product support platforms preferred.
- Experience with imaging and media editing tools preferred.
