International Student Recruitment Specialist

Scarborough, Canada UMC High School Full time

**International Student Recruitment**:

- Research and report updates of education markets to develop an effective marketing strategy and plan
- Accomplish the specified and mandatory goals of enrolment numbers
- Create and maintain student recruitment channels and relationship with agents and partner schools recruiting students from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Canada.
- Provide accurate and timely information about UMC & UMC High School to prospective students in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Canada.
- Organize and attend student orientations, education fairs and other marketing events

**Counselling Support**
- Monitors progress of international students and provides ongoing support, referring students for professional assistance, when appropriate;
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure student satisfaction and success
- Provide supports to other administrative duties upon request

**Job Qualifications**:

- Experience in international student recruitment is preferred
- Willing to travel locally and internationally
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Strong presentation skills and enthusiastic about challenges
- Must be proactive and performance driven
- Knowledge of educational systems and international secondary & post-secondary system of other countries is an asset
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and students

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON M1J 1J1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
