**About Marine Thinking**

Marine Thinking is seeking an individual looking to join an agile, dynamic, and motivated team in the artificial intelligence (AI) and ocean robotics technology industry. Our technology aims to help protect the environment by supporting the sustainable development of the marine industry. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Communication Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team.

Role and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Write content to support communications and marketing efforts, such as the organization's website copy, blog posts, newsletters, brochures, and press releases;
- Plan and implement a communications strategy to achieve organizational goals;
- Analyze results of communications campaigns and strategies to determine how to improve them;
- Manage event details and aspects, including agenda, reception, venue, budget, speakers etc.;
- Work closely with various teams to support branded advertising campaigns, such as design, plan, and set-up for events, such as trade shows, conferences, demo-days, anniversary celebrations, and more;
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs);
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities and improve campaign performance;
- Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies;
- Discover potential collaborations/new initiatives/events opportunities with the ecosystem partner/supporters/clients.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Public Relation or related degree or at least 3 years equivalent experience in related field;
- Comfortable working with ambiguous instructions in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment;
- Flexible with changing priorities and proficient at managing multiple projects concurrently;
- Excellent research and analytical skills;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with experience in event management;
- Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, to deal with unexpected or urgent issues, and attentive to detail;
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent English verbal & written communication skills; fluency in French is a bonus
- Team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude;
- Proficient with MS Office, Google Analytics, and other professional work software;
- SEO, social media management, Shopify, and Wordpress experience is a bonus
