**Industrial Helper Afternoon Shift (Monday - Thursday)**

Reporting to the Foreman, you will assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the shop by sweeping regularly and cleaning as well as supporting manufacturing in preparation and assembly as required. Shift starts at 2.45pm and finishes at 12.45am (Monday to Thursday) in our heated indoor shop. OT rates are paid double time.

**Responsibilities**
- Preparation of machinery and equipment for painting by cleaning steel
- Paint part as per specification
- Maintain and clean all workshop areas and equipment
- Support in all areas of assembly and manufacturing
- Assist in stocking and inventory
- Actively promote safe working practices, follow good manufacturing practices, and participate in continuous improvement
- Keep a safe and clean work environment by complying with policies, procedures and regulations
- Ensure that tools, equipment work areas are maintained in a clean, complete and safe condition
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience in an industrial equipment and manufacturing environment an asset
- Experience working with wood processing machinery or environment an asset
- Must meet all Health and Safety standards and lift a minimum of 20 kg
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.62-$30.39 per hour
