**About Us**

The Indigenous Primary Health Care Council (IPHCC) is an Indigenous-governed, culture-based and Indigenous-informed organization. Its key mandate is to support the advancement and evolution of Indigenous primary health care services provision and planning throughout Ontario. Membership includes Aboriginal Health Access Centres (AHAC), Aboriginal governed Community Health Centres (ACHC), other Indigenous governed providers and partnering Indigenous health researchers and scholars.

**Overview**

Reporting to the Cultural Safety Manager, the Evaluation Specialist will monitor and evaluate IPHCC’s Indigenous Cultural Safety Approach and Mental Health and Wellness Program. This position will work closely with and facilitate strategic guidance and collaboration in Indigenous Cultural Safety program development and the implementation of strategies for increasing organizational competencies.

**Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Planning - **works with the Indigenous Cultural Safety Manager to develop and implement project plans that align with the strategic direction.
- **Research Analysis and Evaluation - **researches and collects information to support content creation to keep ICS training updated, relevant and responsive to needs. Supports evaluation, key performance indicators, and data collection for the ICS training.
- **Consultation and Liaison**:liaises various organizations and stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline (public health, health promotion, health administration, health services, Indigenous studies) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of the Indigenous health care sector.
- Knowledge of Indigenous peoples history in Ontario
- Knowledge of research and analytical techniques
- Knowledge of program and policy development principles
- Understanding of cultural safety principles
- Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation, and engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and seek assistance as required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
- Effective decision-making skills and follows through with the general strategic direction

**Compensation**

Salary is commensurate with qualifications, and experience and is set within the IPHCC’s established salary grid and policy guidelines.

**The IPHCC can not accept applicants from outside of Ontario.**
