Insight is currently seeking **Patient Care Coordinators** to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a remote position on a 1-year temporary contract, with the possibility of extension. This position operates on a rotational schedule consisting of 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Answer incoming calls from various queues to book medical imaging appointments.
- Liaison with the Medical Receptionist(s), Patient Care Manager, Clinic Supervisors, Coordinators as required to ensure timely Patient Care.
- Provide valuable feedback in the Development and implementation of protocols as directed by the Patient Care Manager and other administrative staff within the Organization.
- Check incoming Faxes and contact Physicians and Patients for Medical Imaging appointments.
- Call out to patients as directed by the Patient Care Manager to rebook, confirm or fill appointments as required.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency with medical scheduling systems and customized computer software
- Working knowledge of medical office routines, imaging protocols, and workflows
- Strong computer literacy, including data entry and electronic fax handling
- Task prioritization and time management skills in a remote setting

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma (required)
- Medical Assistant Diploma or Medical Terminology Certificate with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (equivalencies may be considered)
- Previous experience in a high-volume contact center (required)
