**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and enhancing their quality of life. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and dignity for those you care for.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients have nutritious meals.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments as needed.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in caregiving or home care settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions or preferences of clients.
- Experience working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is a plus.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
