As the Communications Specialist you will lead and/or assist in multiple internal and external communication initiatives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop, design and deliver all internal and external communications that support our Optima Living values, mission and culture.
- Develop and implement of the communications strategy
- Ensure the appropriate voices are heard in our internal and external messaging
- Partner and collaborate with the operations, support services and asset management teams to support engagement initiatives.
- Elevate the quality and visibility of leadership communications to enhance trust, reinforce priorities, celebrate successes and strengthen organizational culture
- Continue to evolve internal channel and content strategy, using qualitive and quantitative insights to incrementally grow engagement and adoption
- Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of communications delivered and implement improvements to better inform our employees
- Other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum 5-7 years of communications experience
- Master's in communications, or related discipline combined with experience
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously.
- Excellent personal communications skills and the ability to develop productive relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders including executives.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated self-starter with strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, Project Management software
- Roles reports to Co-Founder and Principal
