**Job description**

We are a busy 64 room hotel in North Nanaimo. Every room on our property has a patio or balcony overlooking Long Lake. We pride ourselves on delivering a comfortable, clean, and relaxed stay for all of our guests.

The Inn has many long term employees that have been with the organization for years. We try to keep the job fun, and are looking for someone who is a good fit with our crew.

This position might be well suited to someone who is available on weekends **Friday, Saturday and Sunday** for day shift. Being **THE RIGHT PERSON,**you know that working as a Housekeeper in a busy hotel is hard work, but is also fun when you work with a great team. You need to be ready to tackle scrubbing toilets and bathtubs, vacuuming carpets, and making beds like its an olympic sport. We NEED someone who is reliable, can communicate well with other departments, and doesn't mind chatting with guests.

We all work together to get the job done, meaning you (and everyone else) work to help each other.

**Qualifications**
- 1 year minimum experience in cleaning, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- WHIMIS (can train)
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain high cleanliness standards
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay Depends on Experience and Performance: $19.90 through probationary period.

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift - 9 am start
