Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of the hotel including but not limited to guest rooms, corridors, washrooms and other public areas of the hotel. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to creating a pleasant and sanitary environment for our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, and common areas
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established procedures and guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

Note: This is a paid position. All positions at our company are compensated accordingly.

**Job Types**: Casual, Seasonal

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Nanaimo, BC V9R 5H4 (required)
