**Real Estate Administrator - Halifax/Dartmouth**

**This is an administrative support role within a friendly yet busy real estate brokerage environment for specific real estate agents within the firm.**

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Transaction related administrative support for real estate agent(s): namely organization of sale and listing related paperwork in file management software**:

- **Listing and data entry**
- **Liaise with agents, service providers and clients to navigate sales from acceptance to close**
- **Interaction with outside parties (cooperating agents, lawyers, clients, lenders) to provide information as required**
- **Submission of required file documents to office administration**
- **Properly track transaction requirements to a conclusion in a timely manner in accordance with real estate contracts, brokerage policy, and agent requirements**
- **Communicate clearly with agents the requirements and progress of each transaction file**
- **Establish clear and reliable communication standards for agents using the service**
- **Adhere to templates, checklists, letters, marketing materials used for the services**
- **Create a system to track incoming service requests and progress for agents**
- **Familiarize yourself with and maintain knowledge of RE/MAX Nova or NSAR/NSREC resources**
- **Provide feedback to management/ownership on improvements required or problem areas.**
- **All work must be done in a professional, fair, and sustainable manner**

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Administrative duties as requested by management team.

**Qualifications & Traits**:

- **Real estate administrative experience in a brokerage environment**:

- **Knowledge of MLS systems, Webforms, Digital Signatures, word processing, spreadsheets, and other real estate related software**
- **Highly organized**
- **Superior customer service skills**
- **Sensitive & helpful personality**
- **Ability to multitask**
- **Data processing, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail**
- **Experience using filing systems/management**
- **Self-motivated**
- **Must be able to work with others and achieve goals in a team environment**

**Working conditions**:
**This position will be conducted in-office on a daily basis within either Halifax or Dartmouth office**

**Attendance/Accessibility Requirements**:
**Expectation of 35-40 hour work-week with standard vacation time (depending on experience & qualifications). Appearance shall be in professional, office-like attire as outlined in the Policies & Procedures document. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent**

**Salary: $34,000 - $38,000 per year**
