We are currently seeking to fill the full-time customs specialist position at our Toronto branch located in Mississauga.

**Position Summary**:
The Customs Specialist is responsible for performing customs clearance duties, ensuring all goods entering or leaving Canada are properly taxed.

**Essential Functions**:

- Processes paperwork related to incoming and outgoing shipments according to customs regulations.
- Organizes and prioritizes workload to ensure submission of information to Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
- Analyzes shipment documents to determine applicable tariff, duty and tax rates.
- Performs other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Obtains the HS code for various products.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

**Education and Experience**:

- Relevant experience is an asset but not required.
- CCS is Preferred.
- College diploma or equivalent.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
