Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our Food Truck team for **Italian Day** in **Vancouver**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a diverse range of menu items, including appetizers, and entrees, according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck kitchen, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment, not required but an asset
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various culinary techniques, cuisines, and ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high-quality standards during busy periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other team members.
- Food handler's certification, as required by local regulations.

**Please note this position is one day only and you will be paid day of at Italian Day. Great for students or someone who's looking to make extra money**

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 day

Pay: $19.00 per hour
