Havana on the Drive is looking to bring on part and/or full time line cooks and prep cooks. The street patio is primed and ready for its second summer in action and we're looking for some great people to join our amazing kitchen team

The Restaurant:
Havana Restaurant is inspired by the flavours, colours, and culture of Old Havana, Cuba.

When it comes to the menu, guests can expect a hybrid of authentic Cuban flavours combined with Pacific Northwest style and a commitment to local suppliers. Bright, fresh, fun tastes with unique menus for brunch, lunch, and dinner.

What We're Looking For:
Full and/or part time prep and line cooks to join our busy kitchen team. Experience is an asset but first and foremost must have a positive attitude and demeanour. The first rule of our kitchen is no a$$holes Passion for food and delivering unique experiences to each and every guest. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment as part of a team but able to work independently as well. Ability to multi-task is a must

What We're Offering:

- **Prep cook specific** - Wednesday to Sunday or Tuesday to Saturday mornings with a mix of 7 am and 8 am starts, 8 hour shifts. Dream summer schedule _Minimum 2 - 3 years prep experience necessary._
- Flexible mix of evening shifts (5/6 pm to close) and daytime shifts (8/9 am to 4/5 pm)
- We believe in giving our people the opportunity to live their lives and do cool $hit We never schedule more than 8 hours a day or 40 hours per week unless you want it
- Free meal on every shift worked.
- Opportunities to advance in the kitchen.
- Starting hourly wage between $18/hr - $20/hr depending on experience
- Tips paid out weekly. Usually works out to about $4.00 - $6.00 per hour extra (in cash).
