Milton, Canada The Family Place Child Care Centres Full time

The Family Place organization has been offering high quality programming for families in Halton Region for over 40 years. We are non-profit licensed child care centres located in in Oakville and Milton. We have been supporting families in Oakville for over 30 years and in Milton for over 40 years. We offer Preschool, Junior/Senior and School Age Before and After Care programs to families in Oakville and Infant, Toddler and Preschool in Milton. We are currently looking to hire an Early Childhood Educator who is dedicated, honest, enthusiastic and is looking to work within our dynamic team.
- One FULL-TIME PERMANENT ECE POSITION

Mandatory Qualifications Required:

- Current Standard First-Aid/CPR Level C AED certificate
- Current TB test within 12 months of employment
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check within 3 months of employment

Additional Requirements: Experience working with young children.
- Must be willing to work with all age groups and be flexible to accommodate the needs of the program
- Experience developing and implementing emergent programs using the How Does Learning Happen and the ELECT framework or willing to learn
- Ability to work flexible hours, 8 hour work days with 1 hour paid lunch and 15 minute break with programming time weekly
- Demonstrated leadership skills - ability to take initiative while working within a team setting
- Excellent communication skills - ability to speak positively and professionally to families, staff, management team and outside agencies
