Position Title: Yard Coordinator / Central Purchaser Term: Fulltime Location: Coquitlam (Yard location) Availability: Monday-Friday with overtime ABOUT US: For over 30 years The Quorum Group of companies has been privileged to work on many Canada's greatest landmarks. Roles and Responsibilities: Crane Division: - Order supplies, repairs, equipment, trucking for crane erection, dismantle, jumps and repairs. - Gather and organize all proper documentation for the crane books. - Book and organize all the tech reports and inspections for all items of the cranes. - Organize the engineering reports for the cranes, radios, etc. - Issue and generate all po’s Yard Division: - Book and organize all the tech reports and inspections for all the equipment that needs to be on-site coming from the yard. Organize any repairs that are needed to the equipment. Keep track of when the yearly NDT inspections are needed to be done for the equipment. - Purchase material as requested by the project sites. - Enter the PO’S to our accounting system for payment. - Supply the yard manager orders that need to be picked up for sites so he can organize the trucks for delivery - Liaise between our fabrication crew at the yard and our engineering firm for drawings relative to what we are building before site delivery. - Work with the PM and Coordinators on rental equipment for site delivery. Once the material is ready to be returned conduct a final count in the yard for submission to our vendor with the return. - Payroll entry for all yard employees - Help yard manager with working in the yard from time to time (laboring) - Pick up and drop off material from time to time - Payroll coverage for a site coordinator from time to time Requirements/Qualification: - A driver’s license is required - Ability to lift 50lbs - A forklift license is preferred, but not mandatory - Level 1 first aid is preferred, but not mandatory - Computer literacy and familiarity with programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook - Effective written and verbal communication skills What we offer: - Be part of a growing business - Professional development opportunities - A genuine, respectful, and progressive work environment that's developed over 30 years - $20 - 26/hour - depending on the experience level - Medical / Dental & RRSP contribution **Salary**: $20.00-$26.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - RRSP match - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Overtime - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - This job and the interview process require you to be available in person in British Columbia or Canada.
