Position Overview
As a Travel and Camp Coordinator you will provide administrative support to oversee camp accommodations and travel logistics, planning, and reporting, for all craft and staff employees working at a remote construction site in Squamish, BC, to build the Woodfibre LNG marine facilities. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations for workforce accommodations, travel logistics, and camp services. The successful candidate will act as the central point of contact for employees and contractors, coordinating travel arrangements, managing camp occupancy, and ensuring compliance with company policies and project requirements.

District Overview
Kiewit's Western Canada District is headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia. We primarily perform heavy civil projects specializing in earth moving, transportation, roadways, bridges, water resources, and underground utilities. We are looking for hard working individuals with a passion for construction who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty Our current opportunities are spread across the entire west coast of Canada.
Location
This position will work in our Coquitlam Marine Yard site office on a full-time basis. Reliable transportation to commute to this site daily is required.
Responsibilities
- Arrange flights, ground transportation, and other travel logistics for project personnel.
- Oversee camp occupancy, room assignments, and check-in/check-out processes.
- Work closely with airlines, hotels, shuttle providers, and camp service vendors to ensure reliable service.
- Maintain accurate travel and accommodation schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Ensure travel and camp operations adhere to Kiewit policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding travel and camp inquiries, providing timely updates and support.
- Track occupancy, travel costs, and utilization metrics; prepare regular reports for project management.
- Address and resolve issues related to travel delays, camp accommodations, or vendor performance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in business administration, hospitality, logistics, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years in travel coordination, camp management, or logistics (construction or industrial project experience an asset).
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities; proficiency in MS Office and travel management systems.
- Familiarity with remote worksite operations, camp services, and travel logistics in challenging environments.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, customer-service focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.

- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation: 65, ,000
- Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
